About Us:

Restoration Ministries of the Apostolic Faith Church of Indianola, MS was founded by Richard and Michelle Jenkins. In September of 1998, while under the leadership of Pastors John and Linda Willis, the Jenkins were ordained and officiated to become the new pastors of First Apostolic Church of Indianola.  The church consisted of thirteen members, nine of which were their own children. In 2000, Restoration Ministries of the Apostolic Faith was birthed. Restoration is the heart of their ministry – the restoration of marriages, families, the broken-hearted, and most of all reconciliation with God the Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Jenkins have a powerful radio broadcast ministry, which has impacted the lives of thousands in the Mississippi Delta. Their unadulterated teaching of Gospel has brought hope, healing, and salvation to many souls.

The Lord anointed them mightily with wisdom and ministry gifts to minister healing and restoration to married couples, singles, youth, men and women. They have spoken in various services in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, California, and Hawaii. Through their ministering, many families have been restored, and singles have realized their completeness in Christ with renewed hope to continue to serve the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

In response to the call of God, in 2005 the Jenkins birthed Restoration Ministries Christian Academy, a school of “academic excellence in a Christian environment” to serve the dire academic needs of the children of the Mississippi Delta.

Restoration Ministries of the Apostolic Faith welcomes you to learn more about this ministry as we exalt our Lord Jesus Christ in all we do.  Join us for a time of worship in His presence.

Vision

It is our desire and purpose to teach and        preach the Word of God with such

simplicity that all who receive it are         changed and restored to their rightful

  positions in Christ Jesus; whereby

families, communities, and the world will        never be the same.

"...we will give ourselves continually to prayer and

to the ministry of the Word." Acts 6:4

We Believe:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified, died and buried.  On the third day

He rose  from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He remains at the right hand of

Almighty God.

After death eternal life begins either in Heaven or Hell.  Where you spend eternity is based on your decision to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and to live according to God’s Word---the Bible---or to rebel against it.

When the Rapture occurs, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain will be caught up tio meet Jesus in the air.

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

Faith is acting on the Word of God.

In water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

In the authority of the name of Jesus.

In the indwelling of, and baptism in, the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

In Christ we are new creations. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are new.

We are seated together in heavenly places in Christ.

In divine healing---------the restoration of health to those who believe and act on the truths written in God’s Word, that Jesus is our Healer, and that by His stripes we are already healed.

Tithes and offerings should be freely given to your local church.  The local church is the place of membership where God has called you to receive His Word on a consistent basis and to grow spiritually.

In giving alms to the poor, sick, homeless and others in despair.

In the institution of marriage to mean marriage between one man and one woman.

In giving ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
